Allen Hopman
Tuba / Vice President

Allen Hopman is a resident of Quinton, New Jersey.  Allen began playing the trombone with the Brass Society in 1982, and moved to playing tuba a few years ago when the position became available.  He formally played trombone for the Pitman Hobo Band and baritone horn with the Atlantic Brass Band.  In addition to the Brass Society, Allen currently plays baritone for the Salem American Legion Band.

Allen is a graduate of Glassboro State College (now Roan University) with a degree in Physical Sciences, specializing in physics and chemistry.  When not playing tuba or baritone, Allen can be found working for the Salem County Department of Health as a Registered Environmental Specialist.

A life long resident of Salem County, Allen enjoys traveling, hiking, fishing, boating and canoeing, and restoring classic wooden boats.
